We are issuing this public notice to warn businesses, fitness professionals, and travelers about Coco Paradiso Resort and Gym due to serious legal violations, breach of contract, and outright theft.
What Happened?
Ultimate Fitness entered into a three-year lease agreement with Coco Paradiso to operate their gym, investing over €20,000 in construction and another €20,000 in high-quality training equipment. Despite honoring our agreement and generating over $100,000 for the resort in low season (when we weren’t even contractually required to stay open), they illegally took back the gym with only two weeks’ notice—right at the start of high season, while we had 40+ booked clients.Citing the false excuse that "we did not make them enough money in low season," Coco Paradiso’s Filip Massara and Kat (the owner) blocked us from retrieving our equipment and stole everything inside the gym. Filip had planned this theft from the beginning and is now attempting to profit off our legally leased space and stolen property.Legal Action UnderwayWe are currently pursuing:

If you’re a trainer, gym owner, or retreat organizer considering running a fitness retreat at Coco Paradiso Phuket, think twice.
Our experience with this resort has been nothing short of a legal and financial nightmare. We are issuing this warning to protect other fitness professionals from falling into the same trap.
Coco Paradiso Phuket: A Breach of Trust and Theft
Ultimate Fitness entered into a three-year lease agreement with Coco Paradiso Phuket to operate their gym. As part of this, we invested over €20,000 in construction costs to improve the facility and another €20,000 in high-quality gym equipment to create a top-tier fitness space.
Despite fulfilling our obligations, Coco Paradiso illegally terminated our lease with two years still remaining, locking us out of the facility and stealing all of our gym equipment. Their justification? They claimed we "did not make them enough money in low season", a blatant lie considering we generated over $100,000 for them during that period—even though we weren’t contractually required to stay open.
Coco Paradiso Phuket Stole Our Gym Equipment
At the center of this scandal is Filip Massara, who from the very beginning had planned to take over the gym for himself. When we were forced out, he physically prevented us from removing the equipment—effectively stealing it.Despite multiple attempts to reach a resolution, Filip and Kat (the resort owner) refused to engage. They ignored emails, calls, and legal notices, showing complete disregard for ethical business practices.
Legal Action Against Coco Paradiso PhuketWe are actively pursuing:
✅ A civil lawsuit against Coco Paradiso Phuket for breach of contract and damages.
✅ A criminal case against Filip Massara for theft of gym equipment.

There are many reputable resorts and training centers in the area that operate with professionalism and integrity—this is not one of them

Dishes typically range between 120 and 180 baht each.The resorts restaurant is open between 7 am and 10 PM.
Hotel reception.
The reception is open between 7 am and 10pm. Outside of these hours there is a security guard who is also standing by for the reception.
Gym open
The outdoor Ultimate Fitness gym is open till 7 pm daily for Ultimate Fitness Clients only. Training sessions are from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 9.30 and from 5.00 to 6.00 pm. on Thursdays the session might be from 4-5 pm. The trainer will always post the schedule for the next day.
Towels.
Towels are included but not gym and beach towels, so feel free to bring your own. Or buy a sarong at the beach. this saves a lot of packing space. The hotel does have towels for by the pool, you can just ask at reception.Kitchen.Please note there are no cooking facilities at the resort. Your room does have a fridge.
Water in the rooms.
On arrival, you have a small bottle of water in your room, if you would like more water you can get it at reception, the price is 80 THB for 6 bottles, or if you just buy one it is 30 Thai Baht.
WiFi
The wifi is for free. There are two separate wifi connections, depending on in which part you are staying. Cocoretreat is CocoRetreat, the password is: 0765406112Cocoparadiso, the password is: paradise
Transport.
You can order a taxi at reception. Prices are also available at the reception.You can also rent a motorbike (at own risk) the price in1 day THB 2001 week THB 13001 month THB 3800
Washing
If you like to do a wash, you can give your washing to reception. The price is THB 70 for a kilo. It is done the next day smelling fresh and nicely folded.
